When using the Build feature to generate reports in Beam Notes, it can be easy to accidentally miss a key piece of information from your uploads. To help you ensure your documents are complete, Beam Notes includes a built-in auditing tool called Source Check.
By running a Source Check, Beam Notes will automatically audit your uploaded information against what your chosen template expects to find, ensuring you haven't missed any crucial details.
How to run a Source Check:
Open your document: Navigate to and open any report or document that you created using the Build function.
Access the Prompt Chat: Locate the chat interface next to your document.
Type the command: Type
source checkinto the chat box and hit send.
Understanding your feedback:
Beam Notes will analyse the provided information and instantly return feedback directly in the chat.
What it checks for: The system compares your document against the specific requirements set by the template you used (for example, checking if a formal disciplinary plan or a specific source type is missing).
What the results mean: It will highlight what you have successfully covered and list any specific items or missing data that you might still need to include for your work.
The next time you build a report, try typing source check to quickly audit your work and ensure nothing gets left behind!
