Beam Notes: Workflow Management

Introducing our new Beam Notes workflow management feature

This new feature is designed to help with:

1. Tagging whether your Beam Notes are for review or complete
2. Quickly filtering to note ready for review

Please note this feature does not affect the data retention period of your Beam Notes.

1. What’s new

You are now able to quickly filter to view all your notes, notes which are ready for your review, and notes which are complete.

You can set these statuses on the note itself or via the My Notes page.

Simply click on the circle to mark as complete, this will turn into a green circle with a tick ✅

2. Setting the status of a Beam Note

The default status of a newly created beam Note will be set to For Review. You can update the status to Complete in two ways:

1. Directly from the MyNotes page, next to the Beam Note on the righthand side

1. From within the note itself in the top left of the page

3. What about historical notes?

Historical Beam Notes made before the introduction of this feature do not have a status by default but you can add a status in the same way as you would when updating a Beam Note from For Review to Complete
