Text Guide
Welcome to your Beam Notes Manager guide! As a designated manager, you have access to a dedicated suite of tools designed to help you oversee your teams, track engagement, and streamline your workflow.
Once you are set up as a manager, you will see the Manager tab appear on the left-hand side of your Beam Notes account menu.
Features Available to All Managers
Every manager on Beam Notes automatically receives access to key tools for monitoring team activity and engagement.
1. Analytics
The Analytics tab provides a visual, data-driven overview of any team you manage. It is designed to help you understand how your teams are utilizing the platform.
What you can see: Graphs and data detailing your users' activity, including total hours recorded and template usage metrics.
Filtering: Easily filter the data by specific teams or custom timeframes to find exactly what you need.
Exporting: You can download any of this information directly as a CSV file for external reporting or deeper analysis.
2. Inactive Users List
To help you keep engagement high, this feature flags users who haven't logged into or used Beam Notes within a specified time period.
Identify: Quickly spot which team members have gone quiet.
Re-engage: Directly from this list, you can draft and send a reminder email prompting them to log back into their account.
Advanced Manager Features
Depending on your organisation's setup and your specific permissions, you may also see three additional tabs in your Manager dashboard.
š” Note: Not all managers have access to these advanced features.
Templates Tab: Request new templates, ask for iterations on existing templates, and track the status of your requests.
Users Tab: Create new user profiles, edit existing user details, and search for specific users across the system.
Teams Tab: Create new teams from scratch and manage/review information for existing ones.
