A Guide to Organisation Admin Functionality

Organisation Admins have access to administrative features that control how users, teams, and templates are set up within Beam Notes. 

This article explains what Organisation Admins can do, what they cannot do, and how Organisation Admin access is granted.

Organisation Admin access

Organisation Admin access is limited to specific individuals only.
This level of access is granted on an approval basis and must be agreed by:

• The Programme Manager within the council, and

• The Programme Manager within Beam

What Organisation Admins can do

If you are an Organisation Admin, you can:

• Add new users to the organisation

• Deactivate users who no longer require access

• Bulk upload users via CSV (visit our guide here)

• Create new teams

• Rename users

• Rename teams

• Request new templates

• Request iterations or updates to existing templates

• Make users People Managers

What Organisation Admins cannot do

Organisation Admins are not able to:

• Make users Organisation Admins

• Grant users access to the Template Centre

• Re-allocate template access

  • For example, if a template was originally assigned to specific teams and new teams are later created, Organisation Admins cannot reassign that template themselves
