Beam Notes is designed to be your versatile companion for any interaction where capturing accurate information is key. Whether you need to record formal minutes, track action items, or simply document your own professional reflections, Beam Notes ensures you can stay present in the moment while the technology handles the documentation.
Versatile Use Cases
You can use Beam Notes across a variety of devices - including mobiles, laptops, and tablets (like iPads) - for scenarios such as:
Resident Interactions: Home visits, assessments, or 1-to-1 check-ins.
Collaborative Meetings: Multi-agency professional meetings or MDT discussions.
Internal Sessions: Clinical supervision, team meetings, or complex case reviews.
Use the following guidelines to ensure the best recording quality and transcription accuracy.
In-Person Group Meetings
Identify Speakers: Ask all participants to introduce themselves at the start of the session. This helps the system accurately distinguish and label different voices.
Optimise Audio: For meetings in very large rooms, consider using an external microphone to ensure every participant is heard clearly.
Online Meetings
Select the Correct Mode: When prompted at the start of your laptop session, ensure you select the Online meeting mode.
Maintain Settings: Keep your initial setup and audio configuration consistent throughout the entire recording to avoid interruptions.
Solo Reflections and Dictation
Capture Insights: Use the recording feature to dictate post-visit reflections or detailed clinical analyses.
Instant Structure: Once you finish speaking, the system will immediately transcribe your audio and organise it into a structured summary format for your records.
