You can now save and reuse your favourite prompts directly within Beam Notes chat, saving you time on repetitive tasks. Follow the steps below to learn how to create, access, and manage your saved prompts.
1. How to Save a Prompt
There are two ways to save a prompt for future use: directly from a message you've typed, or from the prompt management menu.
Option A: Save directly from the chat box
Type your message into the chat box.
Look directly below your typed message for the three lines with a plus (+) icon.
Click this icon to instantly save that text as a prompt.
Option B: Create a brand new prompt
Click the plus (+) button located below the chat box.
Select the 'Add Prompt' option (instead of the folder icon).
A pop-up box will appear. Type or paste the prompt you want to save.
Click Save Prompt.
2. How to Access and Use Saved Prompts
Whenever you want to reuse a saved prompt, follow these steps:
Click the plus (+) button located below the chat box.
Select your desired prompt from the list to automatically insert it into your chat.
3. How to Manage Your Prompts
You can clean up or update your saved templates at any time:
Open your prompts by clicking the plus (+) button below the chat box.
Open 'Your Prompts' folder.
From here, you can Edit the text of an existing prompt or Delete prompts you no longer need.
