📝 Note: This feature is only available if it has been enabled by your organisation.
If you use your mobile device to record audio, you can easily upload those files to Beam Notes. Before uploading, you just need to save the recording to your device's file system. Find the instructions for your specific operating system below.
📱 iPhone (iOS)
To upload a Voice Memo from an iPhone, you must first save it to the Files app.
Step 1: Save the Voice Memo to Files
Open the Voice Memos app (typically located in your Utilities folder).
Tap the recording you want to export.
Tap the More Actions icon (the three dots
...), then tap the Share icon.Scroll down and select Save to Files.
Choose your preferred storage location, then tap Save.
Step 2: Upload to Beam Notes

🤖 Android
To upload a recording from an Android device, you must first save the audio file to your local storage or a cloud service.
Step 1: Save the Recording to Your Device
Open your device's built-in Voice Recorder app.
Open your list of saved recordings and tap the one you want to upload.
Tap the Share icon (usually represented by three connected dots or an arrow).
Select a destination to save the file, such as your phone's Internal Storage, Google Drive, or My Files.
