Note: This feature is only available if enabled by your organisation
Magic Notes allows you to upload audio files which you have saved so that you can generate summaries, arrange them into templates and perfect them using our editing tools. This guide will walk you through how to upload these files from your mobile device or laptop.
Note: Magic Notes accepts the following audio file formats: M4A, MP3, MP4, MPEG, MPGA, WAV and WEBM
Here is a quick YouTube video on how to do this!
Step 1: Locate the Upload Button
If this is your first time logging in, you can find our step-by-step guide here.
Once you are logged in, you’ll find two options at the bottom of your screen on the My Notes page: Record and Upload.
Select the upload option to add an audio file to Magic Notes.
Step 2: Confirm you have Permission
Magic Notes will prompt you at this point to confirm you have the consent of everyone who is recorded in the audio file to upload it into Magic Notes.
Clicking “no” will return you to the My Notes page; clicking “Yes, upload” will take you to the next step to upload your audio file.
Step 3: Select your file to Upload
Once you have confirmed you have consent, you will be able to select the file you wish to upload.
Click the file and select open to upload it. Clicking cancel will take you back to the My Notes page.
Step 4: Upload
Once you have selected the file and clicked open, you will be taken back to the My Notes page and you will see your file uploading.
You don’t need to do anything at this point, once the file has uploaded you’ll be prompted to select a template and you can then view your summary and perfect it using our editing tools.
Note: if you click to a new page at this point the upload will be cancelled. We’ll ask you to confirm so that you don’t accidentally stop the upload.
