Collaborating with your team on Beam Notes just got easier. You can now add comments directly to shared notes, whether you're conducting case reviews, sharing supervision notes, or exchanging feedback; helping you keep all your discussions secure and in one place.
🔒 Privacy Reminder
Your Beam Notes are private to you by default. Commenting is only available when you intentionally choose to share a note with a colleague. This provides a safe, tracked way to collaborate without needing to copy and paste sensitive information across different messaging tools.
💬 How Commenting Works
When you share a note with a colleague, both you (the note owner) and the recipient gain access to a comments section at the bottom of the shared note page.
1. Leaving a Comment
Open the shared note.
Scroll to the Comments section at the bottom of the page.
Type your message, question, or supervision feedback and click Send.
Both the note owner and the recipient can reply back and forth in a single thread.
2. Notifications
Note owners automatically receive an in-app notification whenever a recipient leaves a new comment on their shared note.
This ensures you never miss feedback or key updates on a case review.
3. Resolving Comments
Once a question has been answered or actioned, the note owner can mark the comment thread as Resolved.
Resolving comments helps keep the note clean, organised, and easy to review later on.
