Your Manager Access dashboard is designed to grant you control, better visibility, and more flexibility over your users, team structures, and templates - all from one central location.
Here is a breakdown of how to use these new tools to manage your organisation smoothly.
1. Template Management & Permissions
The Templates tab under your Analytics page allows you to oversee and distribute template requests efficiently.
Key Features:
- Template Descriptions: Each template now features a brief description so you can quickly understand its purpose at a glance.
- Access Visibility: You can immediately see which specific teams or users have access to any given template.
- Request Iterations: Managers can now seamlessly make request iterations directly from this view.
How to Grant Template Permissions
You can now grant template access in three different ways depending on your organisational needs:
- Specific Teams: Assign the template only to departments or groups that need it.
- Specific Users: Limit access to individual team members.
- Entire Organisation: Use the global toggle to quickly grant access to everyone in the company, making wide-scale deployments simple and fast.
2. User Management & Headcount Control
The Users tab has been upgraded with two key features to help you manage your headcount and organisational roles dynamically.
- Role Promotion & Assignment: When you click to edit a user, you can now promote them to a Manager role (or remove the manager role if needed). From this same menu, you can select exactly which specific teams they are responsible for managing.
- Account Deactivation: You can now deactivate user accounts easily with a single click, allowing for seamless offboarding or headcount adjustments.
3. Navigating Team Hierarchies
Managing complex organisation charts is now much easier thanks to the redesigned Teams section.
Hierarchical Views
If your organisation utilises multiple layers of teams (such as parent teams and sub-teams), you can now view them in an expandable and collapsible tree menu. This eliminates clutter while keeping your entire structure accessible.
Editing from the Teams View
From this section, you can select any team or sub-team to:
- See exactly who is in which team.
- View individual user access levels.
- Identify who is responsible for overseeing that specific team.
- Edit user access rights and adjust team settings instantly.
