When you click Save, your Note will typically display a 'Drafting' status while our system processes the audio and generates your summary. This usually takes just a few minutes depending on the recording length.
However, if your Note has been stuck in the 'drafting' phase for more than 15 minutes, please follow the troubleshooting steps below.
1. Refresh your browser
Sometimes your Note is actually finished, but the webpage hasn't updated to show you the new status.
What to do: Refresh your browser page (press
F5or the circular arrow icon).Is my data safe? Yes. Refreshing while a Note is in the 'Drafting' state will not cause you to lose any information.
2. Pending audio to upload
If you created a Beam Note while offline, you must reopen using the same device and browser once you are back online. This allows the pending audio to reconnect and finish uploading for a summary to be created.
3. Other technical delays
On rare occasions, internal system processing can encounter a hiccup that prevents the summary from completing.
