Guide for shortcutting to Magic Notes on your mobile

This article will show you how to create shortcuts to Magic Notes for the following browsers and systems: Chrome & Edge on Android mobile and Chrome & Edge on iOS. Please select the relevant section for you below:

Note: Please do NOT install Magic Notes as an ‘app’ - this will not work.

• Chrome - Android Mobile
• Edge - Android Mobile
• Chrome - iOS Mobile
• Edge - iOS Mobile

 

Top tips:  

• Only save the shortcut once you are logged in, do not save the shortcut before this
• When saving a Magic Notes shortcut, make sure you are saving magicnotes.ai and not any other alternatives such as (www.magicnotes.ai/login)

 

Chrome - Android Mobile

• Step 1 - Open www.magicnotes.ai

• Step 2 - Tap the three dots in the top right corner of your browser to open Chrome’s menu

• Step 3 - Tap ‘Add to home screen’

• Step 4 - Tap ‘Add’ on the pop-up that appears.

• Step 5 - Click ‘Add’ and name the shortcut if you wish.

• Step 6 - You now have a shortcut to Magic Notes on your homescreen. When you tap on it, it’ll open up in Chrome.

Edge - Android Mobile

• Step 1 - Load www.magicnotes.ai in your Edge browser on your mobile.

• Step 2 - Tap on the three lines in the bottom right to open up the menu.

• Step 3 - On the menu that’s appeared at the bottom, tap on ‘Add to phone’ (you might need to swipe across to the second menu screen to see this).

• Step 4 - Click ‘Add’ on the pop-up.

• Step 5 - You now have a shortcut to Magic Notes on your homescreen. When you tap on it, it’ll open up in Edge.

Chrome - iOS Mobile

• Step 1 - Load www.magicnotes.ai in your Chrome browser on your mobile.

• Step 2 - Tap the square with arrow icon in top right corner of the screen

• Step 3 - On menu that appears, scroll down to and click ‘Add to Home Screen’

• Step 4 - Click ‘Add’ to add to home screen of iPhone mobile.

• Step 5 - You now have a shortcut to Magic Notes on your homescreen.

Edge - iOS Mobile

• Step 1 - Load www.magicnotes.ai in your Edge browser on your mobile.

• Step 2 - Tap on the three lines in the bottom right to open up the menu

• Step 3 - On menu that appears, scroll down to and click ‘Share’

• Step 4 - On menu that appears scroll down to and click ‘Add to Home Screen’

• Step 5 - Click ‘Add’ in the top hand corner of the screen.

• Step 6 - You now have a shortcut to Magic Notes on your homescreen.
