🚨You cannot make edits to the text from your phone. Log in to Magic Notes from your laptop to get started.
Visit Magic Notes from your laptop and select the Note you’d like to edit.
Click on the summary inside the main section of the screen You will then see a toolbar with different edits you can make to your text.
Select which edit you would like to make.
- B, I and U represent bold, italic, and underlined. Simply highlight any text and click one of these to make an edit.
You can also use regular keyboard shortcuts within Magic Notes (e.g., Ctrl+B for bold, Ctrl+I for italics, and Ctrl+U for underline).
- To change text to be in a ‘header’ style (bold and increased font size), highlight the text and then select the H1 button, as seen below.
- To format the text into a bulleted or numbered list, highlight the text you wish to change and select either the bulleted or numbered list button, as seen below.
- To undo or redo a single change you have made using the task bar, you can select the arrows at the right side of the toolbar.
To undo an edit, use Ctrl+Z. To redo, use Ctrl+Y.
Copying and pasting sections of text (you might need to extract parts of the text from your Magic Notes)
- Highlight the paragraph or section of text you wish to copy and paste.
- Right click, and select ‘copy’. You can then head to your Magic Notes, right-click again, and select ‘paste’ in the relevant field.
To copy and paste, use Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V, respectively.
5. Copying and pasting all text.
- To copy all text at once, scroll to the bottom of the summary and click the ‘Copy with formatting’ if you would like the summary to be copied in the way it is shown in the summary.
- Of you just want the text without the formatting, you can click 'copy text only' want button at the top right of the screen.
- This will copy the entire body of text to your clipboard.
