Beam Notes only works on Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge web browsers - it’s important that only one of these should be chosen as your default browser (Chrome is the preferred choice).
Follow this step-by-step guide to set your default browser correctly so that your device will always open Beam Notes using the correct browser.
Android:
Go to: Settings > Apps > Default apps > Browser app > Select Chrome
- Confirm that you have either the Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome mobile app installed on your device. If not, download either app from the Google Play Store.
- Once downloaded, open your device Settings.
- Scroll down and tap on Apps or Apps & notifications (the exact name may vary depending on your device).
- Tap on Choose default apps. If you don't see this option, you may need to tap on the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner and then select Default apps.
- Tap on Browser app.
- From the list of available browsers, select Chrome / Edge.
