Beam Notes is compatible with Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge and we recommend using one of these two browsers. 

                                                  

🚨 Avoid using Samsung Internet or Apple Safari, as they are not supported. You may need to change your default browser to Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

Do I need an internet connection to use Beam Notes?

No! Beam Notes has 'Offline Mode', Click here to view how. Important Note: You will have needed to visited Beam Notes prior online before you're able to use Offline Mode.

What happens if I lose internet connection while recording?

If the internet connection is lost during a recording, Beam Notes will continue capturing audio, but processing will be delayed until the connection is restored. Continue recording as usual and click 'Save' when finished. Once the internet connection is restored, the audio will automatically upload to Beam Notes. The entire meeting will still be recorded, but you may need to wait for your connection to resume before receiving your summary. During this time, you may see the message "Beam Notes is drafting your note" until the connection is stable.
