Logging into your Beam account

Welcome to Beam! Follow this guide on how to log in. While the screenshots are from a desktop, the steps are identical on mobile devices.

Step 1: Visit our Beam website

Open your web browser and navigate to www.beam.org.

For the best performance, we recommend using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

Step 2: Locate the Login button

Click Login located in the top right-hand corner of the homepage.

Step 3: Enter Your Work Email

Type in your official work email address.

• Double-check your spelling: This is the only email associated with your account.
• Consistency: Use the same email address every time you log in.

Step 4: Login Method

Depending on your organisation's security settings, you will log in using one of the two methods below:

Option A: Single Sign-On (SSO)

If your organisation uses SSO, simply enter your work email. If you are already signed into your company network, you will be authenticated automatically.

Option B: Secure Login Code

If your organisation does not use SSO, you will use a one-time code:

1. Check your inbox: Look for an email from Beam containing your unique 6-digit code.
2. Copy the code: This code is valid for 2 hours before it expires.
3. Verify: Return to the Beam webpage, paste the code, and click Continue.

5. Security & Authentication Details

Device-Specific Security

To keep your data safe, login sessions are device-specific. You must complete the login process on each phone or laptop you intend to use. This ensures only authorized devices can access your account.

Session Duration

To balance convenience with security, your login remains active for:

• 7 days total, OR
• 3 days of inactivity. After this time, you will be prompted to log in again.
